10 Things to do in Augusta this Weekend


Big Mo Triple Feature - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - The annual Labor Day Triple Feature Extravaganza. Choose your screen and stay for 3 movies! Cost is $9 adult, $4 kids.

Country Under the Stars - Saturday - Come enjoy live country music from Luke Combs, Ray Fulcher and more all to support the new charter school in Hephzibah. Gates open at 3 PM, concert starts at 4 PM. Cost is $25.

Films on Friday - Friday - Bring a lunch and enjoy a screening of the Reiviers based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel. 12 PM at the Morris Museum of Art. Free Event.

Gold Panning - Saturday, Sunday - Learn how to pan for gold and keep what you find and then take a tour of Heritage Gold Mine in McCormick. 9 AM - 4 PM. Cost is $3 tour for ages 6 and up and $5 per bucket for gold panning.

Kid's Night Out - Friday - Drop your kids off for a night of fun while you enjoy a night out. Kids ages 2 - 12 can be dropped off at the Kroc Center for swimming, inflatables, dinner, activities and more! Cost is $20.

Last Game at the Lake - Monday - Check out the final GreenJackets game at the Lake Olmstead Stadium. Tickets start at $8. Pre-game concert and Fireworks following the show.

Savannah River Brewing Company Re-Grand Opening - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - New beers on tap, return of a few favorites, extended hours and more, celebrating their re-grand opening!

Savannah River Site Museum - Friday - The SRS Museum in Aiken is open for tours. Get a glimpse inside the fence of the historically-secret SRS and the accomplishments made at the site. Open to the public 12 - 4 PM.

Slide the City - Saturday - Take a ride on the huge slip and slide! Slide the City is coming to Columbia County! 10 AM - 6 PM. Cost is $30 - $63.

Walk Your Pet Hike - Saturday - Take a leisurely, guided hike through 2.5 miles of nature park trails with your 4-legged friend. 9:30 AM at Phinizy Swamp Nature Park. Cost is $2.
