15 Things to do in Augusta this Weekend February 23-25


Augusta Home & Garden Show - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Find the latest in products and services to help you with all your home and garden projects! Opens at 2 PM on Friday, 10 AM on Saturday and 11 AM on Sunday at the James Brown Arena.

Broadway in Augusta - Sunday - The Illusionists, magic spectacular, will be at the Bell Auditorium. 7 PM. Tickets are $25-$76.

Cheerleader for a Day - Saturday - Augusta University Cheerleader's annual mini cheer camp for kids 4 - 12. Cost is $25 for camp, snack and participant game entry. 10 AM - 3 PM.

Crime Scene Science - Saturday - Hands-on

science for kids 7 - 11 to learn about forensic science and try out some experiments. 11 AM at Nancy Carson Library. Free Event, Registration required.

Family Movie Night - Friday - Free family movie screening at the Kroc Center's state of the art theater. 6:30 PM.

Fireside Kitchens Open House - Friday - Check out their new indoor products and appliances and outdoor grilling needs. 12 - 8 PM at Fireside Outdoor Kitchens & Grills.

Fourth Friday Dance - Friday - The Ballroom Dance Center's fourth Friday dance open to students and the public. 8 - 10:30 PM. Cost is $10.

Living History Park Gaming Night - Saturday - A family friendly night of food and fun. Donation of $12 will get you food, drink and fun or come for just the fun and popcorn for free. 6 - 9:30 PM at the Living History Park.

Mega Furniture Auction - Friday - Rich's Auction in Aiken is having a huge auction. Restaurant and doors open at 4:30 PM, auction starts at 6 PM.

Rat Rods & Friends Cruise-In - Saturday - Cruise-in with the Rat Rod Car Club from 4 - 6 PM at Snocap Drive In. Everyone is welcome.

Saturday Sing Along - Saturday - Free showing of Annie at the Aiken County Public Library at 3 PM. Closed captioning will be turned on so you can sing along!

Shredding for a Cause - Saturday - Community shred event at ADSI Moving Systems on Mike Padgett Highway. Donation of $5 for every 2 bags or boxes of shredding. All proceeds benefit the American Heart Association. 9 AM - 1 PM.

Sister Act - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - The Augusta Players present Sister Act the musical comedy. Shows on Friday and Saturday at 8 PM and Sunday at 3 PM at The Imperial Theater. Tickets are $20 - $48.

Two for Tea Daddy Daughter Class - Saturday - Dads and daughters can decorate their own tea cakes and cookies along with photo booth. Cost is $35 per daddy/daughter, $5 additional daughters. 10 AM - 12 PM at The Sweet Suite Bakeshop. Registration is required.

Vive la France Wine Tasting - Friday - Wine World in North Augusta has 10 great wines from France for you to taste. $25 advance tickets. 7 - 9 PM.
