Aiken Music Fest - Saturday - Live music with The Travelin Kine headlining. 5 - 11 PM at Highlands Event Center in Aiken. Free Family Friendly Event.

Barefoot in the Park - Friday, Saturday - Aiken Community Playhouse presents this romantic comedy on stage. 7:30 PM at The Aiken Community Playhouse. 7:30 PM each night. Cost is $20 adults, $17 seniors/active military, $12 students.

Burgers & Beer - Friday - Savannah River Brewing Co partnered with The Hive for the release of a new beer! Special food options for the evening. $22 gets you 36 oz of beer, food from the Hive and a souvenir glass. Bring your kids or four-legged friends. 4 - 8 PM at the Savannah River Brewing Co.

Brews & BBQ - Saturday - Come try a refreshing small batch IPA from Savannah River Brewing Co. Combined with SmokeShow Southern Style BBQ. 1 - 8 PM at the Savannah River Brewing Co. Purchase the tour package or $22 which includes 36 oz beer, souvenir glass and SmokeShow BBQ Meal.

Candlelight Jazz - Sunday - Pack a picnic and bring your chairs for live Jazz music from Bethany & Southside Boys. 7:30 - 9:30 PM at The Augusta Common. Cost is $8.

Candlelight Wine & Dine - Saturday - Celebration of music and community. Bring your own seating and picnic to enjoy an evening of live music. 7:30 PM at the Columbia County Amphitheater. $10 advance, $15 day of show, kids 12 and under are free.

Christmas in July - Saturday - Start your Christmas shopping now! Vendors of all kinds will be at the Fort Gordon Nelson Fitness Center for all your shopping needs. Food, refreshments, giveaways and more. Starts at 10 AM. Free Event.

Drawing 101 - Saturday - Studio class for ages 14 and up to learn the fundamentals of drawing. No experience required, all supplies provided. 10 Am at the Kroc Center. Cost is $40.

Family Yoga in the Park - Saturday - All ages can learn relaxing yoga from certified instructors. 9 AM at Phinizy Swamp Nature Class. Free class, registration required.

Free Gelato Day - Sunday - If you haven't been to Your Pie in North Augusta yet this weekend would be a good time to try it. They are offering a free summertime treat on Sunday from 11 AM - 10 PM.

Koda's Kids Football & Cheerleading Camp - Saturday - Free event for kids to learn football and cheerleading from the experts. Starts at 8 AM at Aiken High School. Register your kids online.

Movie Day - Friday - Aiken County Public Library will be showing Bolt at 1 PM. Bring the Family, Free Event.

Music at the Morris - Sunday - Free afternoon of live indie jazz music from Stink Bamboo. 2 PM at the Morris Museum of Art. Free Event.

Natural Tie Dye - Saturday - Learn how to use natural elements to tie dye a shirt. 10 AM - 12 PM at Mistletoe State Park. Cost is $15 plus $5 parking. Registration recommended 706-541-0321.

Summer Storytime - Friday - Bring your kids for storytime at the Nancy Carson Library in North Augusta. Kids 0-2 at 10:30, 3-6 at 11:15. Free Event.

Swamp Treks - Saturday - 3rd - 8th grade kids will trek through the swamp to explore wildlife. Registration is required. 10 AM at Phinizy Swamp Nature Park. Register at 706-396-1426. Cost is $10.

Tae Kwon-do - Friday - Kids and adults can learn Olympic style Taekwondo. 5:30 PM at the Kroc Center. Enjoy 1 free class and then it's $75/month for twice a week.

Touch-A-Truck - Saturday - Kids can explore emergency vehicles, bulldozers and more from 9 AM - 1 PM at Odell Weeks Activity Center in Aiken. Bring your swimsuit for a spray down from the fire truck. Free Event.
