Annual 4th of July Concert - Saturday - Join Augusta Bel Canto for their annual concert celebrating Music of American composers.  1:30 - 3 PM at Augusta Museum of History.  Free Event. 

 

Boot Camp Party - Saturday - The Kroc Center is ending their Bootcamp workout with a class including inflatables, drills, obstacle courses, games, prizes and more.  9 -10:30 AM at the Kroc Center. Great way to try out boot camp.  Cost is $8.

 

Crafts at the Morris - Friday - Kids can enjoy a story and craft at the Morris Museum of Art.  3 PM at the Morris Museum of Art.  

 

El Rey One Year Anniversary - Saturday - If you haven't tried Taqueria El Rey, now's your chance!  Drink and Food specials all day and live music starting at 6 PM.  

 

Family Movie Night - Friday - Free family movie night at the Kroc Center!  They will be showing Flushed Away in their state-of-the-art theater starting at 6:30 PM.  Concessions will be available for purchase.  Free Admission.

 

Fine Wines of Burgundy - Friday - Wine World in North Augusta has Louis Latour to give you a wine tour of Burgundy.  Sample 10 wines accompanied by bread and cheese.  Cost is$25 ahead, $30 at the door. Reservations are suggested.

 

Flashback Cinema Jaws - Sunday - Evans Cinema will be showing Jaws as part of their flashback series.  See the classic on the big screen.  2 PM

 

Food Tour on the River - Saturday -  Augusta Food Tours presents an afternoon on the River.  Food demonstrations and of course eating on board the Patriot Tour Boat as you cruise down the river. 4 - 6 PM. Cost is $48.

 

Fort Gordon Independence Day Celebration - Friday - Free Independence Day Celebration open to the Public at Barton Field on Fort Gordon starting at 5 PM.  Live music from Randy Houser, Family Fun Activities, Kiddie Carnival Rides, and of course a Fireworks Extravaganza.  Free Event.

 

Independence Day Weekend Kick-Off - Saturday - Timms Harley Davidson is kicking off the holiday weekend all day with BBQ Chicken, Hot Dogs, Giveaway and more!

 

Loomis Bros. Circus - Friday & Saturday - The Circus is in town this weekend at the USCA Convocation Center.  Get your tickets now!  Friday 7 PM, Saturday 1 PM, 4 PM and 7 PM.  Cost is $20 adults, $8 kids 2 - 12.  

 

Meet a Master Gardener - Saturday - Have questions about your lawn or garden?  Master Gardeners will be at the Aiken County Farmers Market on Williamsburg Street in Aiken to answer your questions from 8 AM - 12 PM.

 

OTBP Riverwatch Brewery Special - Friday - Andy Jordan's Bicycle Warehouse will be taking a 20-25 miles off the beaten path bike ride stopping at Riverwatch Brewery on the way back.  6:30 PM.  Free Event but bring your ID and cash for the pit stop.

 

Rock Painting Picnic - Friday - Ever Crafty is hosting a free painting rocks party from 10 AM - 12 PM at Evans Library Pavilion Park. Pack a picnic lunch and kids get 2 rocks to paint.  Paint will be supplied. Additional rocks are $1 cash. Free Event.

 

Smokeshow Party - Saturday - Live music and BBQ with a cash bar at Pine Knoll Farms in Appling.  Starts at 6 PM.  Cost is $20.
