12 Things to do in Augusta this Weekend March 2-4


An Evening of Dance - Saturday - Augusta West Dance Guild will showcase their current pieces at 2 and 5 PM. Tickets are $14.

Augusta Magazine's Southern Designer Showhouse & Gardens - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Check out a 5,100 sq ft home in historic Summerville complete with formal gardens. 10 AM - 5 PM. Cost is $25.

Elevate The Stage - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - College women's podium-style gymnastics meet and Club gymnastics meet for Junior Olympic levels. Beginning at 7 AM each day at The James Brown Arena. Tickets are $10 kids/$15 adults for a day pass or $20 kids/$30 adults for the weekend pass. Friday Evening event is a separate ticket.

Empty Bowl 2018 - Sunday - Working together to end hunger. You will receive a handcrafted ceramic bowl to enjoy an assortment of soups, breads and desserts from local restaurants and silent auction. 10:30 AM - 2 PM at The Legends Club. Tickets are $25 adults, $7.50 kids at the door.

First Friday Drop-In Wine Tasting - Friday - Stop in for a wine tasting at Wine World in North Augusta. 6 different wines from across the world. 5 - 8 PM.

Green Monster Art Show - Friday - Check out local artist's work at The New Moon Cafe and grab a Green Monster Smoothie while you're there.

Kid's Night Out - Friday - Drop off your 2 - 12 year old kids at the Kroc Center for a night out. From 6 - 10 PM they will have dinner, inflatables, arts and crafts and more. Cost is $20.

Mommy & Me Date Night - Friday - Moms can bring their kids to Yotopia from 3 - 10 PM for Mommy & Me Date Night. Kids receive a free fill up your cup with adult purchase. Additional kids are $5.

Morris Museum of Art Gala - 25th annual Gala! Chamagne, Cocktails, Hor d'oeuvres and musical entertainment followed by dinner and dancing. 7 PM - 12 AM. Tickets are $130 - $205.

Parent's Night Out - Friday - Enjoy a night out while your kids have a fun night in at ATA Martial Arts in Evans. Cost is $25 fo dinner, dodgeball and martial arts fun. Registration is required.

Pastel Portraits in Person - Saturday - Have your profile portrait done in-person. Appointments every 30 minutes. $50 deposit required to hold your appointment. 10 AM - 5 PM at Pitter Patter Children's Boutique in Aiken.

Wonder Showing - Saturday - See the movie Wonder on the big screen at Aiken County Public Library at 3 PM. Free Event.
