10 Things to do in Augusta this Weekend May 25-27


Banjo B Que - Friday, Saturday - Live music, finger-lickin' barbeque and fun for the whole family. Evans Towne Center Park gates opening at 4 PM on Friday and 10:30 AM on Saturday. Tickets $45 single day, $75 for the weekend. VIP tickets available.

Cabela's Go Outdoors Family Event - Saturday - Kid's crafts and workshops throughout the day as well as award-winning teams showing off their pitmaster culinary skills. 11 AM - 4 PM.

Cold Creek Nurseries Cookout - Saturday - Cold Creek Nurseries in Aiken is hosting their annual Memorial Day cookout complete with live music, hot dog lunch and ice cream. Cookout is free, donation will be accepted for Childhood Brain Cancer Research. 10 AM - 2 PM.

Han Solo Party - Saturday - Summer Reading program kicks off on Saturday with a Han Solo Party! Crafts and activities for all. 2 - 4 PM at 2nd & Charles.

Human Cannonball Show - Saturday - GreenJackets game is full of fun with a pre-game concert, and post-game Human Cannonball Show. Tickets start at $8.

Mega Memorial Day Fireworks Show - Sunday - Augusta GreenJackets take on the Rome Braves followed by one of the biggest fireworks shows of the whole season. Tickets start at $8.

Moonlight Paddle - Saturday - Paddle down the canal by moonlight(and flashlights) with Savannah Rapids Kayak Rental. Cost is the kayak rental. Reservations required.

Movies on the Common - Friday - Pack a picnic dinner, blankets and chairs and watch Coco at the Augusta Common. Activities begin at 7:30 PM, movie begins at dusk. Free Admission.

Movie Showing - Saturday - Free showing of I Kill Giants at the Aiken County Library. 3 - 4:45 PM. Free Event.

Puppy Pub - Saturday - Grab a beer and meet pups available for adoption. 1 - 4 PM at Savannah River Brewing Co.
