Things to do in Augusta this Weekend June 29-July 1


Art in the Park Night - Friday - Augusta GreenJackets is full of art tonight. Chalk art competitions, illustration machine booth, live painting of the game and more. Gates open at 6 PM, game starts at 7:05 PM. Tickets start at $8.

Augusta Canal Cruise - Friday - Cruise down the canal with live music! Cost is $25, reservations required. Departs at the docks at Enterprise Mill.

Augusta Canal Morning Tour - Saturday - Relaxing guided paddle down the Augusta canal. 9 AM at the Savannah Rapids Pavilion. $15 if you bring your own kayak, equipment & transportation back or $50 for all equipment, tour and transportation

Augusta Market - Saturday - Shop local vendors for produce, food and crafts while enjoying live music and then cool off in the fountain! Starts at 8 AM on 8th Street.

El Rey's 2nd Anniversary - Saturday - Celebrate their 2 year anniversary with food and drink specials all day and live music from 6 - 9:30 PM.

Family Movie Night - Friday - Check out a family friendly movie on the big screen at the Kroc Center starting at 6:30 PM. Free admission, concessions available for purchase.

Fort Gordon Independence Celebration - Friday - Live music, fireworks, kiddie carnival, food vendors and more at Barton Field in Fort Gordon. Open to the public. 5 - 11 PM. Free admission!

Movies on the Common - Friday - Bring chairs, blankets and a picnic for a free showing of Despicable Me 3 at the Augusta Common. Pre-movie activities begin at 7:30 PM. Movie begins at dusk.

Super Saturday Auction - Saturday - Huge live auction at Taylor's Treasure's Auction and Estate Services. Registration starts at 5 PM, auction at 6 PM.
