Things to do in Augusta this Weekend


Augusta Burgers and Beer Week - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Visit a participating restaurant for their specialty burger and then share your photo with #augustaburgersandbeer, vote your favorite burger and you could win up to $400 in gift cards.

Candlelight Wine & Dine - Saturday - Pack a picnic for a night of live music under the stars. 7:30 - 10 PM at the Columbia County Amphitheater. Cost is $15 day of, kids 12 & under free.

Donuts with Dad - Saturday - Dads can take their kids for a morning of donuts and ceramic painting. Paint a ceramic donut bank and mug with dad. Cost is $20 per duo and $10 for each additional kids. 10 AM at Bisquecuts & Glazy in Aiken.

Drawing 101 - Saturday - The Kroc Center is offering a beginner's drawing class for kids 14 and older to learn the fundamentals and techniques of drawing. No experience required, all supplies provided. 10 AM at the Kroc Center. Cost is $40.

Family Lego Day - Saturday - Bring the family out for a creative time to build with Legos at the Diamond Lakes Library at 11 AM. Register at 706-772-2432. Free Event.

Family Yoga in the Park - Saturday - The whole family can join the free yoga class led by certified instructors. 9 AM at the Phinizy Swamp Visitors Center. Free Event.

Father Daughter Gala - Sunday - Dress in your best for a night celebrating fathers and daughters. Entertainment, dining, dancing and more. Doors open at 4, program starts at 5. 5 PM - 12 AM at the Legends Club. Cost is $75 adult and kids 12 & under $35.

Father's Day Fun Run - Saturday - Augusta GreenJackets and Fleet Feet are sponsoring a 45 min fun run. See how far you can go in 45 minutes and then head to the game for the first pitch. Fun run is free and first 30 participants get free GreenJackets tickets to the game. 5 PM at the GreenJackets stadium.

Fort Gordon Pizza Bowl - Saturday - Did you know Fort Gordon has a bowling alley? They are offering up 2 slice of pizza with a soda and 2 games of bowling with shoes for only $8. Call to reserve a lane 706-791-3446. Cost is $8.

Game Night - Friday - 2nd & Charles is hosting a game night to try out a new game, Ghosts Love Candy. Celebrate Halloween in June. 6 - 8 PM. Free Event.

Music at the Morris - Sunday - Life music from the Shadow Pines at the Morris Museum of Art. 2 PM, Free Event.

Pet Portraits - Saturday - Learn how to turn your photo into a painted work of art. No experience necessary and all supplies are included. 10 AM - 1 PM at Aiken Center for the Arts. Cost is $60.

Rubber Duck Derby - Saturday - Race your rubber ducks down the canal to see who wins! Free to watch, ducks available for purchase. 9 AM - 1 PM at the Savannah Rapids Park & Pavilion. Proceeds support the United Way.

Swamp Trek - Saturday - Kids 3rd - 8th grade can see nature come to life as they explore hands-on the nature at the Phinizy Swamp Nature Park. Starts at 10 AM. Cost is $10.
