10 Things to do in Augusta this Weekend


Art in the Park - Saturday - Live performances in dance, music and the performing arts. 10 AM - 4 PM at the Columbia County Amphitheatre. Sidewalk chalk contest, vendors and activities for kids. Free Admission.

Augusta Cinderella Pageant - Sunday - Local participants compete for the Cinderella Pageant to move up to the state level. 2 PM at Aiken Technical College Auditorium.

CSRA Great Escape Outdoor Expo - Saturday - Over 60 outdoor exhibitors, food vendors, animal demonstrations, activities, obstacle course and more. Starts at 10 AM at USC Aiken. Cost is $8 advance, $10 at the door, $2 for kids 10 and under.

Free Pumpkin Give A Way - Saturday - Come to Pelican's Snoballs to support the community with a canned food drive and pick up a free pumpkin! 3 - 6 PM.

Georgia-Carolina State Fair - Saturday, Sunday - Rides, exhibits, live entertainment and plenty more starting at 12 PM each day at the Augusta Exchange Club Fairgrounds.

Goosebumps Screening - Friday - Start the Halloween season off with a screening of Goosebumps at the Columbia County Amphitheater. Bring chairs and a picnic! 6 - 9 PM. $1 at the gate, kids 3 and under are free.

Haunted Augusta Fun Run - Friday - 5k Walk/Run for the Halloween Season. Run through Augusta with a map of famous haunted locations throughout downtown. Race starts at 6 PM. $5 per runner.

Hispanic Festival - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 25th Annual Hispanic Festival at the Augusta Commons! $5 admission.

Swamp Bike Saturday - Saturday - Guided 7 mile ride on the wetlands trails learning about the diverse plant life. Bring your bike and some water. Cost is $2.

The Vintage Market - Saturday - Check out vendors with reclaimed, vintage furniture, clothing, jewelry and one of a kind market items. Food truck vendors will be on site. 8 AM - 4 PM at the 5th Street Marina.
